I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of California, Berkeley. My research focuses on online and offline learning, as well as stochastic and robust optimization, with applications in service systems, transportation and logistics, and revenue management. Before joining UC Berkeley, I spent two years as an Applied Scientist on Amazon’s Marketplace Science team, working on two-sided marketplace design. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2022, advised by Dr. Siqian Shen and Dr. Cong Shi, and my B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2017.
